[Vwdiesel] Diesel Aircrafts ????? old hat you bet.

Diesel was first introduced into aircraft platforms succesfully in the
packard airplane of 1929.  It was deemed too difficult to work on, and
part were not available - so it was cnx.   anyways  - it is so great to
see this trend coming back.  I love diesel and i love airplanes waht a
combo.

But,  1 question for any of you in the know more than I,  When burning
Jet-A  (that's very refined diesel fuel for you non-aviation guys)  do
the piston engines require an additive to lube the pump or has that
problem been engineered out?
