The cert is for JetA or diesel. I wouldn't imagine you would want to get
very high with summer diesel, Jet A would be the way to go due to cold
gelling of summer fuel. JetA is JetA, summer or winter. I know if I ever
get a plane with a timed out engine for my very own (I can dream, can't I?)
This would be the option I would consider. 135hp from a 1.6 td. Not bad at
all. Anything I have read on the subject relates the torque being the
coolest thing- swing a much steeper pitch prop for rate of climb like never
before. Sounds typically diesel. Neat. i would think this in a super cub
would be very nice combination as well.
