Good you got them out. They can be a real bearcat.
Are you sure that the coolant didn't come from the block heater? If the
seal between it and the block is failing, as in the little metal bits that
do the holding in of said plug from behind are failing, then it will weep.
Be sure about this. A weepy block heater is going to fail, just as you are
pulling up that long grade in the middle of Nowhere Nevada, and drop all the
coolant on the ground, warp a head, blow a headgasket, etc, etc.
Timing belt should be just snug enough so you can slide it back and forth
across the grooves on the injection pump sprocket, with moderate effort.
The engine grows a bit when hot, so it will get tighter when the engine is
warm. Don't twist the belt, wrong application.
