 one more time-----forget it ----unless you replace the rotor.
Do I have any background in Gensets ???? ----NOT much except  ---many many =

Worked on Wind -Steam-Water- Diesel ---and many more --here below me is one=
 using Ethylene Oxide ---LOL
While we are at it VW diesel alternators are 3 Phase -- most cars are ---fr=
quency about 400 -800 Hz.---yes the one charging your batteries  !!! using =
a full Wave 3 Phase rectifier ---THEM DIODES ---Have fun Hagar.

PS: Extreme "EXPERTS" ---knows how to convert Sqirrel cage motors ----for t=
he others use an Alternator or Wound rotor Induction Motor.
