[Vwdiesel] Radio problems

  I seem t remember reading something along that line somewhere, might have
been on the VW Vortex discussion boards. IIRC, it was something to do with
the amplified antenna but don't quote me on that.


I have also been told

  Also true, many aftermarket harnesses put a voltage on the K line which
will fry the dealer's scan tool. It's not a huge deal to pull the radio if
you needed to have the car scanned, though. As long as the radio is
unplugged there is no problem hooking the computer up.
