[Vwdiesel] Jetta won't start....New Starter needed.

  I show $110 to $120 for a rebuilt 34X Bosch so that's in the ballpark all
right.  That's probably what the dealer wants too!
  The front motor mount/stop bracket is what the bolts thread into, that
hold on the starter.  So, yes you do need to support the engine.  The
bolts are also 8mm triple square.  :)
