I am taking this all in. Just been very busy. Saving all these msg's for the
weekend when I may have more "time" (pun intended) to see what adjustments I
can make.
THANKS to Hagar, and everyone ! !

Mike Smith said he did not understand timing and would someone explain.
Here is mine :
Knowing that you are a HAM a little lingo from that direction. Camshaft
and Crankshaft must be synchronized. Since it is done with a cogged belt it
becomes part of "Timing" the engine. Likewise the injection pump must be
synchronized to those two.On the 1.6L diesel Timing from scratch is a very
simple procedure if you have the timing belt covers off. The word "Timing"
then becomes confusing because it covers many different things , not just
ignition. The only thing you have to do now (since you are driving) is verify
how close timing marks are to specks. Flywheel right on TDC mark (that's
were you start) Camshaft slot should be straight across (so a piece of metal
can be used to lock it) Find slot opposite end from sprocket) Injection
pump marks all line up. Since you are driving no need to check location of
piston #1. You check that only if your flywheel is not marked.(almost
impossible to imagine.)
In you case Ignition timing may be off ,but it is not the reason for the
lack of poop. Fuel starvation is your problem -- so we are back at Tank
screen Filter and Injection pump. The pump is the last thing we check, after
you turn the fueling screw in with no power or smoke. As soon as you verify
that you checked the above I am suggesting a dose of AD-120. For fuel line
on testing I use Goodyear 1/4 inch line. Blow any ants or debris out of line
before connecting to pump. Before you know you will be burning rubber
like me.
Sure is a lot of fun. Hagar.

PS: I think the thingie is the spaceship the aneroid it is an airpressure
servo , that drives an adjuster of fuel metering inside pump It is
adjustable basically a diagfraghm.Ignore for now.Just pull the little line
off the manifold.
