Followed you guys with great interest. Was thinking of doing a the=
rmal scan of cylinderhead. I am that determined to get the temp down. For =
those who just joined let me say I was the one who speeded up the waterpump=
 and put in the coldest thermostat etc.
My books say that aluminium expands twice that of iron , lower temp less mo=
vement.
The 200 degrees I measured was not accurate ---when I took cap off expansio=
n tank the water boiled like crazy. Never liked that weird waterpump=
 , does anyone know where and why that design ???. One good thing about it=
 ----easy to change. Did the dishsoap test yesterday ----head is tight -=
--no bubbles. Anybody have the numbers for the fan relays ?? so I can see =
if both are installed ( This is a no A/C bunny) If the thermostat switch mo=
unted in rad is a flip flop H - L the the H relay can be used for manual=
 control.
almost looks like H is only used for A/C bunny. This hothe=
ad is sure fun to drive now compared to when I got it " for parts only " =
 magic potions everywhere did the trick on the stiff steering and shifting =
(5 speed manual) Wish I was a salesman for Dow Corning ---dry molyspray=
.=2E           Hagar.
Ps: If fast relay pick up at higher temp than the slow what fires it ???.
