This is for Mike Smith and all who are just dipping their toes . You have n=
othing to fear but what you dream up in your mind. I have had a few years p=
laying with pumps so my fear was not technical on the rabbit it was pecunia=
ry. needed them wheels. But thanks to this place a Gary Orlando got me goin=
g when my pump quit.Was told by dealer that a pump was 5000 dollars Canadia=
n=2EGary told me I could use an old 1.5L pump on my 1.6LNA he was  right.wo=
rks like a charm , and was a piece of cake to change .(took about an hour) =
            I am now fully conversant with the VE  Bosch  068 130 107A and =
xxxx (more letters.)  . except for the turbo part  I am doing that at the m=
oment on my first turbo rabbit a 1984 cutie. light blue. Still smells of th=
e cutie PO. yummie.
OK mike when all the other things are a ok then we time the injection pump =
   ----it is done by turning the pump on its axis . Loosen four bolts (13 m=
m box end on 3  and 13mm socket on 1.)  and the four nuts on lines( 17mm op=
en end) coming out of pump (not too loose now)   Marconi stuff --      the =
Vernier knob is the adjustment where we use a dial indicator  ( for you tha=
ts a long way off)  With camshaft locked and peg in hole line up marks and =
tighten.   I use a small piece of aluminium angle to lock cam and a home ma=
chined pin also aluminium. The pin can be anything not a challenge for a go=
od Hammer.(hey that may be a good pun) copper tubing from the house works  =
if you split it lengthwise and squeeze it a bit.Pin is needed because of th=
e strong springs inside pump is trying to move it off the mark. A wooden do=
well works.       You may have to remove camlock and pin to get socket thro=
ugh one of the big holes in sprocket , it must be lined up to get socket on=
.When tightening or loosening.      I expect the senior (pun) wizards to pr=
oof read this. (they are senior by sniority I am more senior the other way)=
