[Vwdiesel] GTI tranny

Hi All!

has anyone run a 1.6 diesel through a '83 GTI close-ratio transmission?  I
have both and I want to run them together, and the engine is NA.  I think it
might feel pretty good.  Oh, this is a city specific car, so not to be used
on the highway - much.  Just wondering what you guys think.
