Scott and all   ----today a hot day , even around town "high noon"   when I got home I let it idle while I watched gauge inside ----fan came on  ( on slow ) two white marks before red ----Bingo.

Conclusion   ---- a fancy thermostat was sticky.     System is very clean.     Question :  for summer driving I use no glycol ---what can I get at walmart for the water that works. ???.
