[Vwdiesel] Steering wheel vibration

Gents,

My 03 jetta tdi, with 13,000 sm on it, has developed a vibration.  First at
75 mph, and now sometimes down around 45.  Tire wear appears normal.

The front end had excessive toe and was nearly impossible to drive in
snow.  I had them set the toe to as close to zero as possible.  Things
were much better after that.

The second issue, is that simply stated, this car wanders all over in a
light crosswind.  My 91 Jetta NA "holds to the road" with about -0.1
camber (both sides, as most of my driving is expressway, and often in the
left lane), and 0 tow.

Anyone have any light to shed on this?
