Nate Vancouver is not like Seattle. (we are Koyoto on)  Shawn in Shawn-igan=
 lake I can send you a photo of my 1984 Turbo 1.6L Rabbit.     Had so much =
fun fiddling around with these critters --it should be taxed (entertainment=
 tax).   The 1982 Rabbit is now driving like a sports car.-- steering light=
  shifting like an 1957 MGA.When I got it steering was stiff (so was shifti=
ng) ,so I looked for a grease nipple on rack --saw nothing  no oil no greas=
e , rubber booth was busted so rack was visible. Grabbed my favorite Dow Co=
rning dry moly spray bomb
that was years ago still free.I use moly on everything where metal slides o=
n metal.  I did it long before getting the Bentley book. Yesterday I looked=
 in the book for correct way to do it.(for the 1984 it is stiff)     ,, loo=
ks like that is the way to do it.       Hagar.
