[Vwdiesel] 1.9NA Diesel oil fill amount?

Hey folks, I just changed oil in my new 1.9NA Diesel after about 1000
miles (I know, 500 would be better on a new engine). Well, I can't seem to
find the oil fill amount for 1.9NA Diesel (with Vanagon pan) anywhere. I
put in 5 quarts, and that seems about right on the dipstick. I know the
1.6NA diesel vanagon engines use 4.2 Quarts.

So, does any on know what the proper fill amount is? I question the
accuracy of my dip stick (which is from the 1.6NA).
