I've rebuilt some antique engines that were rusted like that. Try the WD-40
and/or kerosene Nate mentioned, if that doesn't work, what I do is take a
oxy/acetylene torch and heat the piston top and surrounding cylinder wall --
mostly the cylinder walls, try to get them hot enough to expand and break the
rust free.
