[Vwdiesel] Fuel hose routing help.

Hi All,

I need to know what the fuel hose routing should be on my '89 Jetta .
There are two hoses from the back , one has a t fitting that is blocked off and
it connects to the injector pump on the left lower side as you face the car.
This hose seems to be wet with fuel near the pump. The other hose from the back
goes into the filter and and from the output of the filter it goes into the top of
the injector pump marked out. Since the engine has been replaced with what I
believe is a older ~ '85 or '86 engine with the valve maint. sticker on the cover,
Perhaps the hoses are incorrectly placed. It's been hard to start when it was cool
and with the temp today in the midlin' 30's even with a fully charged battery it would not go.:~(
So I await your verdict. The Bentley has no photo's of the hose routing.
