The more we understand what makes a DIESEL better than a gas job ---the clo=
ser to operating a VW (rabbit) at minimum cost,we are.Aside from the argume=
nt about dieselfuel containing more energy pr pound, and generally is consid=
ered cheaper. The main difference is the fact that fuel can be introduced af=
ter the valves are closed. If we were to inject ALL the fuel in a rabbit ,at=
full power ,before the valves close. My argument(statement?) would be easy =
to understand ,even by a NOVICE.It would blow the living daylight out of th=
e cylinderhead and maybe even the Rods. Some diesels are designed to work wi=
th All the fuel --taken in--- in one gulp (some 2 cycle) but the mechanical=
strength is many times that of a Rabbit.--there you go on Hagars take on W=
onderful diesels (Thanks Rudolph)--No I am no mechanic ---but I have a good=
handle on cylinderpressures and ignition systems. The Bosch injection pumps=
(rabbits) is my current study.--incredible design. It can NOT be lubricate=
d too much ---but needs a lot.So use added lube (small amount will do) do n=
ot rely on pumpstuff.

Ps: I used to dislike DIESELS , the stink they are noisy and gutless.(love =
em now)
