One summer I went on a backpacking trip in Hells Canyon on the Idaho-Oregon border. We would hike until 10-11AM then set up
camp to wait out the heat of the day. At a sheep ranch we were camped bu. a large 2-300 gallon propane tank blew off its
pressure relief valve and caught fire. It was out in the direct sun. That thing burned all day then that evening they hitched
it to a tractor and pulled it down to the river to cool it off.
