    Indeed.  The owner of the repair shop I deal with twiddled his pump and
boost to the point where he got popped for doing 106 mph in a 55 zone.  He
showed me the ticket.
   Future plans for the engine include a .040 overbore, raceware head
fasteners, and a 6 speed for extra top end.
    BTW, he hired a lawyer for the ticket and got it reduced after showing
the assistant prosecutor an old magazine article which indicated that the
top speed of a VW Diesel was in the area of 80-90 mph. (Fines increase
drastically for citations over 40 mph above the speed limit.)
