[Vwdiesel] Now that I'm on the subject of cotton...

Hmmm....I wouldn't do that. Every 8,000 to 10,000
miles or so I'll remove the airfilter in my TD and
thuroughly shakeout and collect what comes out. It
gets replaced at 20K miles. Last time I got out about
2 teaspoons of "stuff" ranging in size from fine dust
to sand, with an occassional insect and vegatative
matter thrown in. One teaspoon = 5 CC and I live in a
fairly dust-free area. Quite abrasive.
