[Vwdiesel] any leads on engines?

Correction, mine was 5,895 US dollars in 1988, not 5,000. (I just looked at
the title. But I got the 5 right, after 15 years.) 1988 was a long time
ago. That was a good move, and the darned thing still gets out there and
takes me anywhere I want to go. And it is so easy to fix. Nice, simple car
with no electric windows or locks, and I'm still running on the original
injector pump and fuel injectors. The tranny failed a few years after I
bought the car, but that and the xclutch have been the only big
items. Great car.
