[Vwdiesel] Need Some Clarification !

That's the way VW made them.  The 5 speed gets a 10mm pump and .184mm
injectors.  The automatic gets an 11mm pump and .158mm injectors.

The automatic TDI gets less fuel mileage because of the transmission.
Automatic cars always get less mileage than 5 speeds.
