[Vwdiesel] A3 glow plug control

On a recent long road trip, the glow plugs in my a3 went, first, flakey,
then quit altogether.

Not a problem, as I carry a jumper for emergency starts, and once the car is
warm, usually starts ok rest of the day.

Investigating, I found what appears to be the controller lying on the floor
at my feet.

On this (94 jetta) A3, there is a "control module" and a separate relay.

The relay is ok, I hot wired it, but I can't find a socket on the relay box
the control module will fit into.

The big question? where does it go???
