  Well...  Here's a little "for instance" that might pertain.  The local
community
float association just picked up a Cummins/Dodge to pull the float trailer.
They have an arrangement with the local Conoco for filling up the truck.
They've been complaining about it not running right, no power mostly.
They filled up somewhere else, on a long trip, and whaddaya know.  They
gained about 10 mph or better and said it runs GREAT now!  I had a
similar experience with the TD VW pickup.  Filled up at a station and
suddenly had gobs less power.
  Maybe your #2 is really low on cetane rather than you mix being so
exceptional or maybe a bit of both.  :)
