[Vwdiesel] 82 Rabbit diesel for sale

Hi,

  I live in SW Michigan between Kalamazoo and Lake Michigan. I have a 82
4 door red 82 Rabbit for sale. I have put a lot of work in to it the
last few years to make it my daily driver, but I finally gave up. Here
is what's right with it.  It's a 5 speed, very little rust, paint looks
pretty good, it had been repainted, interior is in good shape.  Here is
what I have replaced.  All of the shifter components, struts, cv boots,
steering rack, belts, hoses, it has a new rebuilt injectors and new
exhaust.  Here is the problem.  It just doesn't run right, I attempted
to rebuild the motor, but I guess it didn't work out right.  It smokes
way too much and starts hard, oh it has new glow plugs, and only gets
about 30 mpg and it has started leaking oil, it takes about a quart
every 100 miles.  If anyone is interested in this project then I can
give an extra fuel pump, injectors, and diesel block, but the other
block is a 1.5 liter.  I have this for sale on author trader on line
too. It drives good and you can drive it away, just keep an eye on the
oil.  If no one wants this in about a week I am going to drive it to the
nearest junkyard.  I am hoping to get about $500 dollars for all of
this, but all offers will be entertained.
