[Vwdiesel] Fuel Return

Good morning all.

I have some junk in my tank that was the result of biodiesel's solvent
properties. Now I need to filter it out. To do so, I've installed a cheapo
filter in front of the regular fuel filter.

I know that a certain % of the fuel is returned to the tank.

How long will it take to filter an entire tank full of fuel if I just let
the car idle? I'm getting tired of replacing filters by the roadside.
