Last time I filled a
gas grill propane tank, it was $12.50.

  One thing.  If you buy propane for "motor fuel" the price is much lower
than
for recreational use.  This may pertain to having a bulk tank as well.  The
orchard has two tanks for the propane powered wind machines plus a 1k
tank from when they had a couple of propane pickups.  Dad always said
that if I had to fill a tank other than on the orchard, to be sure and
mention
the road fuel use and the price would be much less.
  Kinda backwards from most other road fuel huh?
