I advertised this (sortof) before. 88 Jetta $569USD---->
This is the same as the "sticking caliper" thread, but I'll add specs of car
again to this one in case anyone missed it.

1988 4 door Jetta GL, 1.6L turbo diesel, 5 speed. Licensed, and inspected
til Jan 31rst 2004.

384,000 kms. Engine "partially" rebuilt last year. Pistons rings, clutch,
timing belt and a few other odds/sods (just before I bought it, so not sure
exactly all what was done)
Champagne/light gold in color. Yucky grey interior. Not ratty, but shows
its age to be quite honest.
NEw block heater 2 weeks ago
New glow plug last month
10LBS boost-measured myself
CD player am/fm radio. (low end) + 4 speakers.
Rebuilt PS pump this summer.
New axle+ 2 CV's last week
New brake caliper yesterday...sigh
Good group 7? large-ish battery
New a/s tires on rear this summer, fronts are winter in good (but not great)
shape. If you don't dicker with me on the price , I'll throw in 2 brand new
13" tires. (otherwise I'll sell them separately)
Intermittent problem with drivers side front brake or wheel bearing.
Before this "wheel sticking problem" I was getting 49-50MPG every tank. (75%
hwy / 25% city driving)
Pix on request. I just have a couple outside pix now. No more til tomorrow
as it's dark outside now.

I just don't have the funds to repair it anymore. We're poor. Come with
$750CDN (aprox$569.11USD) of cold hard cash in your hands and take it away.
My loss = your gain.
