  Sometimes I just don't understand what you're talking about Hagar.  :)
  This is a non-commercial site, it's a help site.  That's been obvious to 
most of the members for many years now.  There's no "HAVE TO" accept 
advertising to that.  A minimal amount is allowed such as if a member 
starts a new business that others would be interested in then there's no 
problem with him mentioning that in one of his posts.  Posting a car for 
sale ad or heads up to an ebay auction isn't what I'd, nor most would 
consider "advertising."  It's helping a seller of, generally something 
diesel, 
find a buyer among friends.  There's nowhere to go.  It did fine before you 
came, it's done fine with you here and should continue to do fine when/if 
you leave.
  Just enjoy it and don't look for a problem when there isn't any.  Dan has 
enough to do just keeping this up without problems that don't exist.  :)
