  Odd thing on these heads is it's more like the outer part of the water 
jacket just "grows".  When I had access to a BIG surface plate I took 
my "too warped to machine or it'll break the cam" head down and 
checked it out.  Head was claimed to be about .025" warped.  Most 
of it was a bit over .013" with one corner at .017".  Cam journals 
were all within +.0005 though.  Quite acceptable.  The head was only 
out by less than .004" from outer edge of combustion chamber to 
opposite edge of the far combustion chamber.  Most of the metal 
removed was actually outside the combustion chambers.  Head's 
still on the Dasher.  :)
