  I know Dad or my uncle talked to a place that put turbos on the earlier 
Fords.  He said he could set the pump up hot enough that by the time 
you reached the top of the hill (about a mile and a half and a couple 
hundred feet up, maybe) the engine would be melted down.  Sounds 
like he was serious!
