[Vwdiesel] Injection pump for beginners ---( the LDA -thingy )

No climbing trees or drag racing until I figure out how to put the CONE  back in
the thingy.

I have the diaphragm coil spring and nylon spacer right here in front of me.

Interesting little devil  --- the CONE is off center like Loren said .  So we have
3 adjustments .   Turning the diaphragm is one and the big CONE adjusting nut is one
and the top screw is one.

DIY pump gang ---be not afraid to take top off LDA ---just four screws.  I never did before
I had no reason till now.  Driving without the guts in the thingy ? yes.

To get the cone back in I have to figure out how to retract the Guide pin, a bit.

Will let you all know if I find a nifty way of  doing it. 

I do remember Mark Shepherd mention turning the diaphragm.

PS:  Sure is some fancy rubber diaphragm.   6711 -2    made 6 month 70. (a guess)
