I was up literally all night thinking about the situation and it dawned on
me in the wee hours of the morning
It turns out while replacing the coolant hoses there is a set of metal
pipes-three in parallel that run coolant and the oil blowby system, the
block vent hose had collasped and couldn't breathe sending all the blowby
throught the oi passages into the head...my bad for not checking everything
once the new hoses were put on but it was many hours of cursing trying to
get them all on...
I just put 400 miles on it yesterday and it ran great, returned 35mpg @
90km/h (for state siders that is 29mpg @ 55 mph) pretty impressive numbers
for a 5000+lb motorhome of 20 feet!
Thanks for the ideas
Greg
