  It times drastically differently than the other pumps of the same vintage 
so knowing is critical to getting the car to run well.  They also seem to 
have more "zip".

  Simple, read the VW part number stamped into the body.  068-130-107 A.  
It MUST have the "A" nothing more, nothing less.
