Actually aircraft grade bolts are around grade 3 if the remember is working (MEK great stuff, hard on grey cells).  If you are after the the hardest then go down to your local CAT
dealer.  Their bolts are really tough and they are made to a very high standard.  I am planning on using studs for the head on my engine.  I think the torque applied will hold better.
Seems like when something starts with thru bolts and then mfg. switches to studs the problems with loosening goes away.
