Like I said, MEK is great solvent, but hard on the grey cells. It amazes me how people think that because something is "aircraft grade" that it is the strongest available. What makes
it work is that everything used is manufactured to a known standard and kept within those standards. Guess I have become cynical in the last 12 years of wrenching on aircraft.
Don't tell me something is "aircraft grade", tell me which standard it was made to and then I can decide if it is useable. To keep it VW related, I have Raceware bookmarked, kmow of
a guy that used their product on a 1.9. Small diesel engine? Allison C18. But it is kind of hard to bolt to a VW tranny.
