Exactly!  You people are lucky.  You get PLENTY of warning when a Hurricane
is heading your way.  If you don't prepare and/or leave the area, that's
your problem and your fault.  Nobody else's.

Around here we suffer from Tornadoes.  I've been in the midst of two
tornadoes within the last 10 years.  The last one was this past March.  It
didn't fully touch the ground, but it did go right over my next-door
neighbors house.  Ripped off some shingles and knocked down their fence.
VERY little warning.  In fact by the time the storm sirens went off it was
too late.  It had already come through.
