  Shouldn't be a problem.  You'll be loading it heavier but intercooling and 
fueling would be the only issues to deal with there.

  Uh oh.  It was a snap ring, not an oil seal ring?  Snap ring has the loops 
or notches where the oil seal rings have a half stepped overlap on each 
end.  Hopefully one was just dropped in there on assembly?  You'll need 
a special "spline" wrench to open up a KKK beyond the turbine and 
compressor housings.  Easy to get from Snap On but hard to find the 
right size plus it still needs modified a little to fit.
