I had an '81 Rabbit once (another car I should have never rid of!)

When I bought it from a old granny(no offense intended), she gave me all
of her receipts of repairs over the years.

Included was a work-order showing complete replacement of the pump,
indicating some sort of CARB sponsored resolution.
