All my propane tanks freeze op real fast at high flowrates. So does my CO2
tanks.

That's my point. The little playing I did with propane one afternoon came
up
with a flow rate of not a lot. We have a "weed burner" setup on a 5 gallon
bottle . I used that so I had a little reference as to how much we were
using
on the car vs the weed burner. The valve was turned down so low that I
don't think I've ever seen the bottle frost up at that rate. Now a whole
bottle
vs the intake is indeed different but then you figure the volume of air
flowing
through and although the drop MAY be measureable, I personally, seat of
the pants, IMO, don't think it'd be enough to make any real performance,
mileage or whatnot, difference. You need to see somewhere bordering
50F to really feel a difference but even a 20F drop. A lot of A/C units
only do about 30 to 40F drop and that's using a lot of evaporative cooling
from the freon. Propane is close in heat capacity as R 12. I just think
it'd
take a lot more propane that you'll burn to cool the intake charge enough
for that to be the justification.
