What about during normal driving say at about 2 or 3 psi; which is what
I got up to on the shopping trip?

  As I recall there wasn't much of a temp increase until almost 6 psi.  
Up to there his intercooler didn't do much.  Something like 50F or 
less of an increase.  At 4psi or so it started climbing and 6 broke 
100F or so and kept climbing steeper and steeper.  The Audi 5000 
intercooler kept temps almost to ambient though.  :)
