[Vwdiesel] Leaky cam seal

An interesting seal is the valve stem seal - it's made to leak a controlled
amount to lubricate the valve stem, but not so much as to burn an excessive
amount of oil.

  That reminds me.  A few months ago someone directed me to a website 
of a guy that was working on roatary valves for cars.  NO lubrication to 
the head so greatly reduced emissions and cooler running heads.  The 
bearings were sealed and with the valves rotating they had a chance to 
cool off.  Sounded really good.  Wonder if we'll ever see them?
