In retrospect,
Yes, you could run a wire through the head from the oil sensor hole.
You could also pull the cam(leave the head) and run a wire through #4
bearing hole that runs straight into the head bolt hole (#3 per the
torquing sequence) that feeds the head circuit.
The only way to run a wire down into the block would be to pull the
head. You can't get to that circuit any other way.
