I was browsing the world wide web  and what did I see ?   "Hagar the Looter ".

yes it was me.    I have no regrets or excuses for looting  the airport in 1945.

Kastrup in Copenhagen was wide open --no guards no police nothing. The British
and the yanks were so busy celebrating and fooling around with Viking maidens
why? should they care?.  I lived right next door and everything was up for grabs.

Yikes I grabbed the wrong things , mostly. They had five years to construct and they did.
It was the biggest airbase in Europe at that time.

In the motor pool ?  did I see any VW cars ?---not that I recall. The yanks grabbed the big
Hock like Hitler's  one long engine in front.

Did I grab a lot of BOSCH stuff?  ----lots and lots.

The Tommy's left a lot of stuff behind  Marconi stuff.   Most of all it was a barrel
of fun. Being a Radio Ham ?  --parts everywhere thousands of tubes (Valves).

DIY ?  transmitters ?  receivers ? amps ? at no cost ? by looting --you bet.I tuned 
my receivers like I TUNE my Rabbits --- and my receivers were sensitive.

I became a Jake of the amateur bands  1000 Watts PA.. totally illegal at that time.

It was so powerful I never could use it.   Ah well it was fun making it.
