[Vwdiesel] 1.6 td transplants

Just about any year newer engine will go into an older car.  All the holes
are in the block for any mount configuration, any previous year. It's easy.
some fiddling may ensue over minor stuff like radiator positioning,
alternator positioning etc due to clearance, but it essentially all works.

td in a rabbit convertable. it would appear that up to 84' will be fairly
simple. How much newer can I
get (cabrio's had many more options, pr windows, locks,cruise). ray
