[Vwdiesel] DIY injector testor

Well, I fooled around for a while today trying to make my DIY injector 
testor.  As Hagar suggested I tried a grease gun.  I got a 4000 p.s.i. gauge and 
appropriate fittings to hook the gauge to the gun with a tee going to an injector 
line and injector.  I cut an old injector line I had here and flared it.  I 
used 1/4" flare fittings on it.  I've got it so it pumps and can even get the 
injector to spray, but it needs a check valve to keep the pressure up in the 
fittings, gauge and line.  Otherwise the pressure bleeds back about as fast as 
you can pump it up.  Any leads on a small ball check valve that goes to NPT?  I 
tried two different grease gun check valves, but couldn't find a way to adapt 
the other end to NPT.  I will try the industrial supply places to see if they 
have something.  I even tried making my own check valve, but still couldn't 
get it to work well.  Any suggestions.  I also attempted the use of a four ton 
hydraulic bottle jack.  The jack has distinct possibilities.  If one could 
find one whose top nut is NPT then it would be a real breeze, and make a very 
nice testor.  The jack I took apart was not NPT.  Shucks.  I'll keep everyone 
posted on progress.
