[Vwdiesel] More Brake Issues

Well, this seems to be the week of brake maintenance for sure. From posters looks like time for master cylinder. Thanks.
A new problem has just happened. While driving along today I started hearing a rattling then clunking sound, from front end when hitting a small bump in road. Sounded like something fairly heavy had come loose. Then when pressing on brake pedal  there was awful scraping sound coming from front left side. I managed to hobble back using parking brake. Suspect something bad has happened inside caliper housing. The discs/calipers are fairly new. And high performance type. Has this happened to anyone? 81 pickup with updated 16V brakes for 14 inch wheels.
