  This is the problem I see.  You have a + wire coming to the GP and 
the LED, then either through the GP to negative or through the LED 
to +??? (following the path in the one direction.)  If the GP fails then 
you have no source for - unless you pull a feedback through another 
source and other sources are not only isolated but on.  As I told Mark, 
after looking at his schematic, if the power source was AC, it would 
work as drawn but I don't see how it could with DC.  
  The feedback thought though...  This would light the LED when the 
gp's are OFF.  Might be able to configure things so that if one dies, 
the LED would pull a - source through the other glow plugs and light.  
Problem is, keeping it from pulling it from the glow plug it's on.  
  Maybe if the big diode is between the LED leg and the glow plug 
instead of the other way around?  Not awake enough to think rationally!
