[Vwdiesel] idle switch, blower motor

Well, I found a photograph in Bentley (VRD4) on page 6-77, Figure
11-41. Switch S1 is the idle position sensor and it appears from the
photograph that the connector comes out towards the front of the car,
which is how I had it, only in my car, the wire was routed around the
front of the injection pump.
I suspect Switch S3 in Figure 11-42 on the same page is the reason why
my backup lights don't work. It's all wrapped up in electrical tape
from a PO.
Now if I can just figure out how to get the heater blower motor out
(factory a/c, I think)....the "ram air" defrost is marginal when
getting off work at 11pm or 7am. Trying to avoid taking out the airbox
under the rain tray since it is all gooped up from a PO. (gotta love
'em). (yea, I asked about this before, but have been busy and avoiding
it -- might as well try it now that the headliner is hanging, fuel is
leaking, and maybe I'll even get the aftermarket cruise removed too).
