For all those who have asked: yes I bled the pumps before testing.  I 
filled each with diesel by hand, hooked them to a full fuel filter and 
then used a vacum pump to make sure that each was properly filled.  I 
even took one of them to be tested by a Bosch place and they say that 
is pumps nothing.  Soooo....I have an offer from one group member so 
far so keep your fingers crossed for me.  hayden
